The HamFest has returned to Flagstaff!

We are getting close to the start of the Flagstaff Hamfest!
Here are some details that need to be shared:

1. Our local Boy Scout troop asked to do the food service in order to raise funds to support their activities. We have decided to support them and are handing over the food service for breakfast and lunch to them. They will be serving breakfast burritos and coffee in the morning, and hamburgers/hotdogs with pickle, chips, cookie, and soda for lunch. They may also offer the original donuts and pizza we had advertised on the fliers, but no guarantees on that at this time. I hope many of you help us support the Scouts by purchasing a meal from them while you’re at the hamfest!
2. We will have access to the venue the afternoon before the hamfest. Vendors can set up Friday afternoon from 12-4pm. Vendors will also be able to set up starting at 6am on Saturday, however, this is an hour before the hamfest begins, and tailgaters will also begin setting up at 6am, so expect that to be a busier time.
3. Tailgaters can begin setting up at 6am on Saturday.
4. The hamfest will open to the public at 7am and run until 3pm.
5. The Friday no-host dinner will take place between 5-7pm on Friday evening. This will be held at the Flagstaff Sizzler, 2105 South Milton Rd.

The Amateur Radio Council of Arizona and the Northern Arizona DX Association are proud to announce that we are holding the second annual Flagstaff Hamfest ham radio festival on July 20th, 2024. The event will be held at the Sinagua Middle School, which is located at 3950 E Butler Ave Flagstaff, AZ 86004.
We have some exciting changes planned for the 2024 festival! Among those changes are: Moving the tailgater area to the front of the school, and putting general parking in the back. We’ll also have more handicapped parking available close to the back entrance, which has the best access to the Commons area where vendors are located. We’ll also have a 12 passenger van to shuttle people between the back parking area and the tailgater area. All these changes are designed to provide overall better access to the hamfest areas. Another change will be that all the classroom areas will be air conditioned this year!
We’ve arranged for a special rate at the Flagstaff Super 8 Motel. Call 928-526-0818 and ask for the Hamfest discount. The hotel is only 1.7 miles from the hamfest venue. We advise making reservations early as rooms in Flagstaff fill up quickly during the summer months.
We’ll have something for everyone in our vendor area this year! In addition to the usual ham related vendors, we will have some local vendors selling Quilts, Jewelry, Pottery and Birdhouses, Purses and Wood art!
